The presentation of İzmir which competes for EXPO 2020 with the theme “New Routes to a Better World/Health for All” was well-received. The presentation showed that a precious seaside land in İzmir was allocated for the organization. To build tourism facilities, hospitals, SPA and entertainment centers on an area of 690 hectare is foreseen. 276 hectare of these areas would be used as EXPO area. Other competitors, Dubai, Sao Paulo and Ekaterinburg gave their presentations following İzmir. The decision on the winner of EXPO 2020 will be given in November 2013 by a voting in Paris.
