Ibis Hotel Esenboğa, developed by Akfen REIT in line with the urban hotel management concept in Ankara, recently opened. Accor, strategic partner of Akfen REIT, will manage this hotel located at 2 km distance from Ankara Esenboğa Airport. Making a statement to the press regarding Ibis Hotel Esenboğa’s opening, General Director of Akfen REIT Mr. Vedat Tural said that they have reached a portfolio of 20 hotels consisting of 17 operational hotels and 3 hotels at the stage of investment in Turkey, Russia, and TRNC with the urban hotel management concept. Mr. Tural reported that bed capacity of operational hotels managed by Akfen REIT has increased to 2,924 with Ibis Hotel Esenboğa, and maintained that this number will reach 3,641 when other hotels currently at the stage of investment will be completed.
