New venues open successively in Karaköy, one of the hot spots of Istanbul. And the latest one among them is Mürver with a terrace giving onto the view of the historical peninsula.

KARAKÖY, one of the hot spots of Istanbul which is the capital city of culture and tourism of Turkey, had a new venue by the end of June. The cuisine of Mürver, offering an exceptional view on the top floor of Novotel Istanbul Bosphorus, catches attention with various cooking methods including smoking.

The menu of Mürver includes various foods and snacks prepared with the seasonal products bought from the local producers of Anatolia and cooked in wood oven or on wood barbecue, rested by hanging over the barbecue or smoked in the oven of smoking, the sustainable sea foods, hand-made dried and rested meats, sausages and a variety of foods and snacks special for vegetarians.

Mürver, as much as being a venue luring food enthusiasts of any age with different lunch and dinner menus, serves also as a restaurant provided with a meeting room suitable for celebrations. At the spectacular open kitchen counter designed by using Nero Picasso marble, one can live a unique experience close to the chef and accompanied with special dishes by feeling the heat of live-fire cooking.

The restaurant where live DJ music is performed, is provided with vibrant, comfortable and spacious inside and outside bars. The wine menu is mostly consisting of Turkish wines but it also offers a rich selection of foreign wines, raki and cocktail menus and snacks within the atmosphere of an entertaining bar during lunch breaks, after office hours, before or after dinner. You can enjoy the pergola system on the open air terrace giving onto the Topkapi Palace and the sea view; the venue is established with the investment of Akfen GYO and operated by AccorHotels and the consultancy service is provided by the Istanbul Food and Drink Group having Mehmet Gürs as founding partner.
