TAV Airports Holding has made an offer of EURO 717 million for the management of Milas-Bodrum Terminals. Having given an offer to operate the Milas-Bodrum Airport until the end of 2035, according to the specifications, TAV Airports Holding is planning to pay for 20% of the offer price in cash on signing the agreement and the rest in deferred payments yearly for the duration of the operation period. Having made an announcement regarding the matter, TAV CEO Sani Sener remarked that they will pay attention to the growth of this airport and that they will go into every type of airport investment within the compass of the financial planning. Regarding whether or not the fluctuations in the foreign currencies, Sener said, “We pay for a considerable amount of our expenditure in TL (Turkish Lira). However, a considerable amount of our income is EURO and Dollars”. Sener also added that they will not be in any airport that will become an issue of resource and that they will not go into an adventure and make moves that would put the investors’ money.
