At “Incek Loft Art Gallery by RC” hosting adults until now, an auction was organized for the first time for kids. The kids bid by themselves for 52 art works of the famous painters.

realized by Akfen Construction in Ankara and where dwelling already started, the art gallery “Incek Loft Art Gallery by RC” opened in cooperation with RC Art, hosted a very joyful organization this weekend. On 23 December Saturday, a drawing auction for kids was organized at Incek Loft. At the event to be managed by Curator Rahmi Çöğendez, organizing the first auction for kids in Turkey, the art galleries are now open not only to adults but also to kids. During the event, the kids bid for 52 art works to be exhibited for them and drawn by the famous painters and thus, they owned them as well. Curator Rahmi Çöğendez stated that they plan to get the young generation interested in art thanks to the drawing auction for kids organized first in 2015 and to encourage them to get the habit of collection already in early ages.

“Through this drawing auction for kids, we plan to get the kids out from their interactive lives and to take them into a different environment. Thanks to our works aiming at familiarizing public with art, we sowed the first seeds for art in the minds of our kids” Çöğendez said. Çöğendez explained that they target to have access to wider masses through this event planned as a social responsibility project and within this scope, they think to traditionalize this auction to be held at Incek Loft Art Gallery.
