In the first 9 months of the year, TAV Airports increased its revenue to 822 million euros with 14% increase compared to same period previous year. Turkey’s world leading brand in airport operations, TAV Airports increased its revenue by 14% while increasing total passenger number by 8% during the first 9 months of the year. TAV announced a total revenue of 822 million euros, increasing its earnings before taxes depreciation and amortization by 21% to 395 million euros. TAV Airports CEO Sani Sener: “As expected, 2015 is very positive year for TAV Airports in regard of operations and financial records. During the first 9 months we increased the total passenger number by 8% to 78 million. We also increased the number of international passengers in Istanbul Ataturk Airport by 11%. Our revenue increased by 14% due to the positive environment in aviation and our commercial revenues. Our EBITDA recorded a 23% growth that is well over the increase rate in revenues thanks to operating leverage, positive currency exchange rates and low rental costs. Even though our net profit was flat coursed due to the non-operational non-cash expenditure (currency exchange difference and deferred taxes) sourced by fluctuation in the currency, with a strong cash flow, in 9 months we have managed to lower our total debt by 12%. DHMI’s ramp area investment in Ataturk Airport is nearly completed. The construction of the terminal expansion that we undertook as a complementary investment, started last quarter and is still in progress. We also put into service a new terminal in the airport serving Medina, the second most sacred city for the Islamic world. We are very glad to perform this duty.
