Akfen Construction is creating a brand new living space in Ankara with Bulvar Loft housing project including gourmet restaurants, ice-skating rink, sun terrace, social areas and transportation advantages. The official launch of the Akfen Construction’s new project Bulvar Loft that is being realized in Ankara has been made. Bulvar Loft, which has been built on an area of app. 37 thousand square-meters on the land of Bank of Provinces, right after İncek Loft project that has been completed 5 months ago, is playing a role in making Ankara’s İncek Region a new attraction center. THE ROOTS OF AKFEN ARE REMAIN GROUNDED IN ANKARA Hamdi Akın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Akfen Holding, made a speech at the press launch of Bulvar Loft and highlighted that “Ankara has a great potential in the housing market and the number of branded housing projects in Ankara has increased considerably and this had created a severe competition among the construction companies”. Akın told that “Ankara is particularly important for Akfen” and said: “The heart of Turkey is Ankara; since Akfen is founded in Ankara, it has a special importance for Akfen. We are a company, that is aware of the economic potential and dynamism of Ankara which is usually considered as a political city. Our company has been founded in Ankara, we have grown up in Ankara and we have put many precious projects into practice in Ankara. Now, we are pleased to put such an assertive and profitable project into practice in İncek, the rising region of Ankara. As it was in İncek Loft project, we are waiting excitedly to welcome our investors at Bulvar Loft.” THE PEOPLE OF ANKARA ARE WILLING TO PAY HIGH PRICES FOR PROJECTS THAT WILL MAKE THEM FEEL SPECIAL Selim Akın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Akfen Construction made a speech and made evaluations about the housing market in Ankara. Selim Akın told that the number of first hand houses sold in Ankara in the first 7 months of 2016 is totally 29 thousand 408 and that this rate is equal to 11.22 percent of the total rate of houses sold throughout the country. Selim Akın said “This situation shows us that from now on the people of Ankara want to live in living spaces where they will feel themselves special and that they will allocate their budgets to make this come true when they feel in this way.” Selim Akın told that they have sold 150 apartments since June which they have started the pre-sales of the project and provided a return at the rate of 37 percent for their customers. Selim Akın told that Bulvar Loft is in proximity to the university campuses and other schools and reminded that the project has a location offering many transportation options, since it is located at the axis where Çayyolu settlement (in where Ankara western region housing texture is dense) is connected to İncek Avenue. THE NEW TREND IN LUXURY HOUSING MARKET; ANKARA In the press conference, Barış Barçak, the General Manager of Akfen Consulting and Project Development A.Ş., told that the people of Ankara got used the idea of fulfilling all their needs within the same area and that Ankara has become the new trend in the luxury housing market. Barçak has also made some evaluations regarding the housing market and told that despite the high supply, these days where the demand is at satisfying levels, is telling that many new projects will also be realized in the future. Barçak continued: “With the increase in the income per capita, replacing your house with a new one at certain intervals has become a routine behavior. The housing sector that has moved away from the idea of satisfying the need for shelter will rapidly continue its production aimed at the changing needs. As long as the diversification in production as well as the ability to progress continues, I think that the demand will increasingly continue.” REAL ESTATE WILL CONTINUE TO MAKE PROFIT AND MAKE PEOPLE MAKE PROFIT Hamdi Akın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Akfen Holding, answered the questions of the press after the press conference and made evaluations regarding the real estate sector. Hamdi Akın told that the real estate sector performed well despite the uncertainties throughout the world as well as in the country in the past year and said “There is a continuous increase in demand in the real estate sector and this plays a key role in the national economy. The sector is in close relation with many sub-industries and we have to consider the employment figures that the sector provides directly and its contributions on income indirectly. We are predicting that the real estate sector will continue to grow in line with the increasing demand. Sustainable growth figures can be achieved within the sector by determining the urban needs accurately and bringing them together with correct projects. As Akfen Construction, we will continue to add value to the sustainable growth of the sector.” WHAT DOES THE PROJECT INCLUDE? There are totally 822 apartments within 6 blocks including 16 different types of apartment flats as 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom, 4 bedroom and 5 bedroom having a gross area between 66 m2 and 350 m2. An interest-free payment plan of 24-months with 15 percent down payment is available for the customers who are willing to be a flat owner at Bulvar Loft Project which is planned to be delivered in November 2018. Bulvar Loft is in close proximity to the prestigious universities and high-school campuses in Ankara and provides transportation conveniences and also provides a living space within green areas with city scenery (Çayyolu, Çankaya, İncek, Eymir, Mogan and Gölbaşı directions).
