Sales amounts after 15 days in Emlak Konut's "Time of Solidarity for Strong Turkey" campaign almost reached the amount of sales in the first four months of last year. “Time of Solidarity for Strong Turkey” campaign initiated by Emlak Konut REIT on February 1st with the participation of “The Association of Real Estate and Real Estate Investment Companies” (GYODER) and “Association of Housing Developers and Investors” (KONUTDER) takes effect. In the campaign, with a 5% payment in advance, the interest rate for 240 months is 0.79% and the interest rate for 120 months is 0.45%. According to the Emlak Konut’s data, in the first 15 days of the campaign, 1,520 houses were sold accounting for 1,350 TL millions in value. The companies already reached their goals in the first two weeks of the campaign which continues until March 31st. Last year Emlak Konut had sold 332 houses in January, 424 in February, 440 in March, and 461 in April accumulating for 1,657 houses in the first four months. Commenting on the campaign, GYODER Board Chairman Aziz Torun remarks, “We offered an opportunity to candidate buyers with this campaign. Based on the figures from my own company and from the major actors in the sector, numbers are gratifying. We are happy with the outcomes.” Pointing out the crowds in the sales offices in a period when people are hesitant on visiting the projects, Torun asserts, “This is also an opportunity on the costs. Because as I mentioned before, because of the increases of the costs due to the inflation, the selling prices will go up.”
