Akfen increased the plant's power established in Mersin to 1.148 MW. Akfen increased Mersin Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant project’s installed power from 570 MW to 1.148 MW. The size of the project is announced as about 850 million dollars. Akfen HES General Manager Saffet Atıcı stated that they are continuing to invest in their natural gas combined cycle plant in Mersin.Satıcı also mentioned that they have increased installed power to 1.148MW from 570 MW after the confirmation from EPDK. Akfen Holding started producing electricity with a total of 433.9GWs in the first 11 month of 2013.
