Turkish business people continue to become prominent in the world thanks to their achievements. Recently, the CEO at Akfen Holding, Süha Güçsav, serving as the Head of Turkey-Singapore Business Council, has been appointed as the Honorary Business Representative of the International Enterprise (IE Singapore) in Turkey, which functions within the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore. International Enterprise (IE Singapore), which functions within the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore, endeavors to ensure that Singaporean companies expand overseas and grow their shares in the international arena developing new collaborations, and to contribute to develop the international trade of Singapore consequently. Therefore, it is an extremely important organization for the countries which try to attract investments. Güçsav’s new role is highly valuable and important as the 11th member of IE Singapore that has only 10 honorary business representatives from all over the world. Having been observed for 5 years and then selected by IE Singapore, Güçsav will provide counsel on matters such as furthering the relations between two countries to a higher level, development of new cooperation between Turkish and Singaporean companies, etc. within the scope of his new duty. In addition, Güçsav will provide guidance for the business circles of Singapore and Turkey to enable them to carry out economic and social development activities with broader participation.
